Review by hotel critic
Nestled conveniently near Bicester Village, the Holiday Inn Express proved to be an excellent haven for my New Year's stay. The warm, friendly staff immediately set a welcoming tone, making me feel right at home. I appreciated the modern, spacious rooms, meticulously clean with the clever option of selecting my preferred mattress firmness; a delightful touch for a good night's rest. While the breakfast spread was ample, I did find the bacon a bit tough, and a lack of lactose-free options was disappointing since a touch of consideration could elevate the experience significantly. Nonetheless, the air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi ensured comfort as I planned my stroll to the nearby designer boutiques and Bicester Village. For those seeking a serene getaway with convenient access to both shopping and local attractions like Blenheim Palace, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Bicester. It's well worth it, especially as a solo traveller or perhaps on a gentle outing with friends.
